Beat Down!!!!

The Yanks bats were on fire last night. What a display of what they are capable of when there clicking, but must say Jeter, Jorge still not there yet imagine if they can get consistent. Russel Was huge last night with Two homers a solo and a three run shot. Which led to him being hit in the upper back right on the spin. Horrible show of class Buck as usual hate the yanks cause they fired you. Thats okay if anyone seen the game we got redemption. After martin being hit Granderson stepped up huge and hit a two run homer. Alex had another huge night with six rbi and a grandslam. I love beating down the team that tried to compare and put themselves on our talent level. Nice try buck 15-3 and the Yankees win...........New york post reports Martin went directly to weight room after game and worked out for an hour... I love this guy

Knicks

Wow and I thought after ten years the New York Knicks would come out with a bit more fire than what was on display last night. I could barely keep my eyes on the screen. We do have a pro team rite because the knicks looked like a local high school team out there.Chauncey is not that important is he? Amare' where are you buddy. If you cant move please stay off the court, as a fan I appreciate the effort but you made K.G. Look like he was 10 years younger. Its the playoffs man you have to dig deep and as a small sportswriter if I know that so should the players. Dantoni I have lost faith in his system. It scores points but if your team is not all defensive at every position you are doomed in the playoffs. I believe that the Knicks need to go to a more defensive oriented system. The knicks have Amare and Melo we will score points lets play D please. I hope after waiting Ten years they will Come out with some passion and give us the fans what we been waiting for. Amare 7 points really? Well Lets GO RANGERS give us something to cheer for in these dark times please the new york fans!!!!!!

Pie Time

I was still not impressed with Phil Hughes. He has to do better may is around the corner. I did see see improvement though. The big story last night was the Yankees never ending drive to win down to the last pitch.  It's about time our Yanks take off there suit and tie and just play the game. Nick Swisher is becoming a brand name and well deserving he is one of the main spark plugs  to our Yankee machine. He just brings a joy to the game that is genuine and you know its from the heart. He put up great numbers last year and was involved in many game ending hits. This year he seems to be picking up where he left off. Add another pie in the face to Nick's resume. Swish plays the game the way it to is supposed to be played and thank you Nick for being a role model to my kids....... Great victory last night I think other than C.C.  who is obvious Nick and A..J. brind a great passion and fun to the game we been missing for several years and I hope they All finish Yanks. Jay

Bronx Bombers!!!!

The Yanks were showing why they got the name Bronx Bombers yesterday. In eight games the yanks have blasted 18 home runs. They have scored 65% of there runs from the home run. I know everyone is thinking  what happens when the slump and the homer is not there. Speed the yanks have plenty of that and they have proven in the last few years that as they got younger they can play fast small ball as well. I heard that the yanks were considering a trade for Pavano that would include giving Joba away. Cashman are you loosing your mind. I would pay Petite 18 million for a year rather than see that Bum back in Pinstripes. If Cashman is that desperate why didn't he trade for Grienke when he had the chance? I hope everyone tunes in tonight at 8 for the series finale of Boston vs. New York I'm sure tonight will be an all out brawl since Boston could be1-8 on the season lol.

Figures

Waiting in anticipation, what a waist of time that was. I thought the Yanks would show a bit more than they did yesterday at Boston's home opener. The game was exciting if you enjoy offense. Phil Hughes has had another shaky start to say the least. I seen A bit better command not much, his velocity is still way down from last year he could hit 95 i seen just a few pitches in the 90 range. In order for Hughes to be effective, he has to get his fastball back in that 95 range and hit his spots. His fastball set up everything. Bartolo Colon looked like he turned the clock back 6 years his fastball was 93 average and threw it for strikes. The yanks got to get there rotation in line within the next month. It is a marathon but other than the rays the american east is by far the strongest division out there. The yanks as any other team in the a.l. east cant afford to fall to far behind. I would sit hughes for a start and let him want to reach down and find a bit more than what he gave yesterday. I will update after the upcoming games today.........jay

The Beat Sox

Boston Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford wipes his face after warming up for their spring training game against the Atlanta Braves at City of Palms Stadium in Fort Myers, Fla., Wednesday, March 2, 2011. (AP Photo/Dave Martin)
I promise I am not writing this for my well known dislike for the bo sox! Can my empire say 0-4, hahaha. All this off season I have heard how boston was going to walk to the series final. Wait  its early rite, yes it is! Since when do we crown the champ without playing the games? This weekend will be Bostons first real test in the america east as they play the Yanks.I think Boston pitching is slightly over rated. There speed is okay, Yanks a lot faster. Catcher may be the most single hardest position and I dont see anything to brag about with Boston's catchers. I am sure they will hit and score at home, I could in Fenway Park. My point is dont judge anything in the offseason wait until they get on the field and play the games!!!! this one is for you Red Sox Nation u suck.......... I been waitng all off season to say that. I hope everyone of those wana be fans that call them redsox fans eat your words, predictions and put them up your ............Jay

Nba Playoffs

So its that time! I have been waiting for 8 years, to make the playoffs. Go Knicks, on there way to there first winning season in 10 years. This is my opinion. All the new yorkers got to just relax! Dantoni has had this team for 22 games that is a preseason, did u all see the game last night . I feel there will be more of that to come. Lets compare Melo is i consider top 5 in nba , he can match points with anyone . Stod what else do I got to say Just a physical freak all around great game, Billups or should
I say Mr. Big Shot. Solid at guard even on the bench Landry is young but has a great IQ for the game he will only get better. Just need a center and in the east If u dont have a Big man to stop Howard or lebron in the lane, That may be all she wrote......... Leave Me some suggestions for Topics Please
